Alongside founder Lance Pierce, Tiffany played a major role in growing Queer Bar Takeover, a monthly pop-up event here in KC that “takes over” different traditionally straight bars on the second Saturday of the month with DJs, drag performances, and more. Through her work on this LGBTQ+-centered event, she realized there was a need for more spaces created specifically for the sapphic community.
Sapphic: An umbrella term for women and nonbinary people who are attracted to women.
To fulfill her vision, Tiffany founded Sapphic Con – an annual flagship event inviting sapphic creatives from around the nation to Kansas City. This three-day conference and festival will have its inaugural debut September 18-20, 2026. Tiffany and her team are calling sapphic creatives from across industries to come together for a weekend of conversations, community building, and, of course, partying!

In addition to her work building Sapphic Con, Tiffany hosts other events celebrating the LGBTQ+ community, including Where To Find Us – a shark tank-style pitching event where guests are invited to share presentations pitching their single queer friends – and Hers – an interactive listening event with sounds provided by women and nonbinary DJs. When she is not hosting community events, Tiffany writes for both Kansas City’s The Pitch and Kansas City Defender.
