Lance Pierce of Queer Bar Takeover joins Ashley and Hailee Behind the Bar!
Lance Pierce, founder of Queer Bar Takeover, started the effort based on a passionate desire for Kansas City LGBTQ+ individuals to unite – and to create a sense of community and belonging for everyone within this group who may have felt excluded in the past.
Now, 8 years later, Queer Bar Takeover is officially opening its own brick-and-mortar location in Westport! On this episode of Behind the Bar, Lance sits down with Ashley and Hailee to provide a behind-the-scenes look at the motivation for and the creation of Q Kansas City.
