Kansas City’s first-ever sports bar dedicated to showcasing women’s sports, The Dub, is nearing a late summer opening day! For Monica and Rachel, there was no better place for The Dub to call home than KC – a city with a truly passionate fan base surrounding women’s sports.
The opening of the world’s first purpose-built stadium for a women’s pro sports team, the KC Current women’s soccer team, demonstrated the passion for women’s sports in Kansas City. The Dub will no doubt extend KC’s passion for women’s sports and become a home base for viewing and celebrating the thrill of all types of women’s sports from around the country and around the world.
Monica Brady and Rachel Glenn are the powerhouse team behind The Dub. The duo shares with Ashley and Hailee some behind-the-scenes insight on the process leading up to the opening of The Dub and what it’s like to not only open their own bar, but one dedicated to women’s sports.
