Isaiah Jackson, co-founder of Run It BlaKC Social Run Club, joins Ashley and Hailee Behind the Bar!

This guest has been in the running for a long time coming! Regular BTB viewers and listeners know that Hailee is an avid runner, and Ashley has recently been training for her first half-marathon – so it may have taken a minute, but the finish line and a cool-down conversation with Isaiah was inevitable. We think you’ll agree, it’s a personal best!
What began as a few early Saturday morning runs for Isaiah and his girlfriend (and, maybe future fiancé? Stay tuned!) turned into something much bigger for the whole KC community! Jai and Isaiah saw the rise of run clubs around the country and wanted to bring that same energy and infectious camaraderie to runners and would-be runners in the Kansas City metro.
The pair launched Run It BlaKC Social Run Club – not just a run club, but a movement, designed to “welcome all faces and paces” and break down the cultural and physical barriers that have often made traditional run clubs feel intimidating or exclusive.
